These eco-friendly alternatives to quats and polyquats contain hydrolyzable ester bonds that break down into biodegradable fragments, reducing persistence and bioaccumulation. Unlike quats, they lack permanent cationic charge, lowering aquatic toxicity while delivering consumer-desired performance from root to tip.

At the root of these chemistries, Inolex leverages responsibly sourced renewable feedstocks. Designed with the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry in mind, these materials are biodegradable and exhibit no ecotoxicity at end-of-life – ensuring a positive impact beyond the consumer experience. In the end, they rinse safely down the drain keeping our waterways and aquatic life healthy.
